What is lithotherapy?

Lithotherapy combines the Greek words "lithos," meaning "stone," and "therapeia," meaning "cure," literally meaning "method that heals through the use of stones." It is based on the belief that certain stones and crystals produce imperceptible vibrations. These vibrations are said to resonate with the skin, stimulating certain organs or bodily functions.

Each stone is said to emit a specific vibration linked to different energy points: the chakras according to traditional Indian medicine, and the meridians according to traditional Chinese medicine.
